Loved this one

I felt so bad for Pacer at times during this book; he was so into Abel and it seemed like all Abel saw in Pacer was a way to get closer to the object of his obsession. As the book went on, though, Abel did begin to see Pacer in a different light though he still tried to stick to his original obsession with Eric. There is some light elements of BDSM, for those that don't like that in their books, but it wasn't over the top. Definitely on my keeper list.

I didn't dislike a thing. I've read all of RDHero's books and this one is my favorite. I loved the way her ideas are displayed. Taking this journey with Pacer and Abel was true bliss and I finished it in a day. I recommend this book to anyone who loves a slash fic. I would read this book over and over again. When I first saw the sample on Wattpad, I knew I had to come and buy this full version.

Pacer and Abel discover bdsm

A cute story but light on world building. Side characters were two dimensional, the campus detail very flat, and once or twice I felt Abel came close to dropping character. Still watching pacer and Abel create a bdsm relationship was fun,as they felt genuinely like two novices. Still, the actual romance between the two wasn't very all apparent. I have enjoyed other works by this author more, but would read a sequel and really enjoyed the book and the characters.

By situating the history of the fight against yellow fever within its political, military, and economic context, Espinosa reveals that the U.S. program of sanitation and disease control in Cuba was not a charitable endeavor. Instead, she shows that it was an exercise in colonial public health that served to eliminate threats to the continued expansion of U.S. influence in the world.

About the Author
Anil Kumar Sinha, Ph.D., M. Tech., is a former professor of metallurgical engineering at Notre Dame University, Cornell University, and the University of Wisconsin. Good book, but with a somewhat misleading title

This is a good book, but with a somewhat misleading title. It should more accurately have been titled Physical Metallurgy of Steels because it is primarily about steels and is much more than just a handbook. A handbook conjures up a vision of a book that is primarily a source for data. There is a lot of data in this book, but it contains much, much, more. It is an excellent text, covering all aspects of the metallurgy of steel in great detail. There are separate chapters on Pearlite, Martensite, Bainite and Austenite, as well as ones on the hardenability and heat treatment of steels; plus chapters on the metallurgy of diffusion, plastic deformation, recovery-recrystallization, grain growth and nucleation in solids in general. These chapters cover all metals, not just iron based ones. This is an excellent metallurgy reference, particularly for anyone interested in steels.

I have been a Christian for nearly 20 years and I have never heard these principles and scriptures used in such a clear way. I now understand that I have been confusing hope with faith and know exactly how to be in faith and hope.

I am grateful to hear the truth of what redemption really means and not just the half-truths that are preached from the pulpit today. Healing IS a part of our redemption. What do people think it means when the Word says, "By His stripes we WERE healed." I believe many people would not be ill if they could just grasp this truth.

Beautiful Women of North Dakota started with an idea that came to me some years ago, sparked by my experience as a single dad raising two young girls. Noticing the tremendous emphasis on physical beauty in magazines, television, and even in my own work, I wondered how I could expose my daughters to beauty that wasn t ephemeral beauty that would inspire them and pass the test of time. As a photographer, I imagined a project that would reveal the hidden beauty of remarkable women. Some years passed, and through my desire to explore this project remained, it wasn t until my wife, Chris Linnares, a best-seller author and psychotherapist from Brazil, urged me to tell the stories of the amazing women she was meeting throughout North Dakota on her speaking tours, that the Beautiful Women of North Dakota project was born. After identifying 22 women through ads in newspapers across the state, encouraging people to nominate the The Beautiful Women of their Lives, my wife and I decided to take a road trip in a motor home to expose our three daughters to everyday women creating extraordinary lives. As we began our journey to bring to light the stories of these beautiful women, my assumptions years ago were right. Each of these women in this book have given of themselves above and beyond what is expected. Women like, Deb Dawson, that in the book represent the Beauty of Love, who is working hard to build an orphanage in Sudan, or Christine Peterson, Beauty of Service, who is leaving her two children to serve in Afghanistan. These women aren t seeking recognition. They aren t the women gracing the cover of Vogue or whose stories are featured on Entertainment Tonight. But I firmly believe that these are the women who can truly inspire our daughters not to take the easy road, but instead, like the Navajo said, choose to Walk in beauty . The photography book, Beautiful Women of North Dakota, will be released at a photo exhibition reception at the Rourke Art Museum, on November 21, 2009 . We want to give the recognition those women deserve. They will be on the red carpet giving their vivid testimonial of how our world can be a better place when we choose the path less traveled.

About the Author
Billy Black has explored the visual arts most of his adult life. After beginning his career in the newspaper business in Minneapolis, Minnesota, he returned to his hometown of Fargo North Dakota and joined Forum Communications as general manager the fifth generation of this family-owned regional media business. There he won numerous local and regional awards for his work in print and television. Today Billy is Development Director for the Forum Communications Foundation, concentrating his energy on the philanthropic outreach of his family s business. Billy s film career began with his work on the feature film, Wooly Boys. This experience inspired him to form a film production company in Los Angeles Opal Films. The company s first feature, Myron s Movie, went on to numerous film festivals including Ciniquest, one of the top ten film festivals in the world. Capturing glimpses of life on film has been a passion of mine for years. When I was first learning how to see, I took photos at a mission in Grand Forks, North Dakota for a photo class. A Native American gentleman came up to me and demanded that I give him the film. He told me that taking someone s photograph captures part of the spirit and soul of the person. I soon learned he was right. Photography has the ability to capture the spirit and this is what inspires me to take pictures. I remember every moment of the process of each of the photos I have taken. I can tell you what the place smelled like and if it was warm or cold. I felt I truly captured the spirit of the moment along with the image and at times, glimpses of the soul. I hope I can pass this insight on to the viewer. And Billy s goals continue to grow. His family background and work in the media business allowed him to recognize the power of the media to influence our thoughts, our beliefs and our decisions. This recognition inspired him to steer his career in a related direction using those same media tools to bring positive change to the world around him. And thus, the Beautiful Women of project was born.

Chris Linnares A best-selling psychotherapist and author from Brazil, Chris Linnares has touched a generation of Brazilian women with her seminars, books, DVD, radio, and acclaimed one-woman show: Divas on the Divan. She was honored with a number of awards for developing social projects such as Arte Solidária, a program that offers people in underprivileged communities access to theatre performances and lectures on the development of human potential. Chris Linnares After marrying photographer and writer, Billy Black, Chris moved to Fargo, North Dakota where she has continued her work of empowering women through the publication of her inspirational novel, Cinderella on the Couch, and a book of poetry and photography, You Deserve, a collaboration with her husband. About the Author
John Bridges, author of How to Be a Gentleman, is also the coauthor, with Bryan Curtis, of seven other volumes in the best-selling GentleManners series. Super introduction to etiquette and behavior

Practical and explicit book for boys and young men to study how to be gentlemen. It explains not only why a behavior is appropriate, but why another behavior is inappropriate and harmful to others or yourself. A must read for all parents of boys in the increasingly asocial world of texting, youtubing, emailing, and facebooking.

Love This Book

We purchased this book to go through with our 10-year-old son & I ended up liking it for me.

In a time when manners and respect are nearly gone, this book helps inform a young man (or not-so-young-man) on how to conduct himself as a gentleman.

This book is an easy read and covers a wide-range of subjects & situations. It does it with a bit of humor too!

Would highly recommend this to any parent with a boy.

Good book

I gave this book to my 14 year old grandson when he graduated from 8th grade. Whenever he seems to lose his manners, I have him read a specific chapter. Things like how to say thank you. I even bought one to keep in our house so that when the grandkids visit they can read a chapter and we can discuss why manners are so important.

Better than "Enter the Lair". No history of the turtles; get "The Green Team" for that.

This wasn't what I expected. I thought "The Big Book of Ninja Turtles" would include some back story about how the turtles ended up as ninjas. Nope. Many of the pages were exact duplicates of "Enter the Lair". This book does go over more of the villains in detail. I really wish we had gotten this one first instead. If you are looking for something to introduce your little one to the history of the TMNT get "The Green Team" instead (even if he or she isn't reading). It was exactly what I wanted and wasn't too long for me to read to my 4 year old.

Thee SOURCE for everything you wanted to know about the TMNJ series

Absolutely the BEST book for any toddler/kid into TMNJ. This book is the definitive source for all the characters and how they are involved in the plot of the tv series on Nick. I learned so much as a parent and can now understand what my 5 year old son is referring to everything he talks about the show. Its also a rather long book, and a large book...hardcover and full of pictures and excellent, easy to read text that is perfect for ages 4+. Excellent value
