About the Author
Pete Cardon teaches management communication, international business communication, and advanced business writing at the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. His primary research interests are intercultural communication and computer-mediated communication. Pete is currently a board member for the Association of Business Communication and the Orchid Foundation. Prior to joining USC, Pete taught at the University of South Carolina for six years and Utah State University for three years. Before working in higher education, he held several marketing and management positions in the tourism and manufacturing industries. Along the way, he has worked in China for three years and traveled to approximately forty countries for work and research.

Do not buy this version of the book! Your ...

Do not buy this version of the book! Your teacher will likely ask for you to use a Connect access code, and this rental does not come with one. There is no clear warning about this, so verify with your instructor that you do not need that code. Otherwise you'll be paying twice the amount for another bundle just for that darn number combination. This product should clearly state that the access code is not included.

Does not include online registration code for Connect

The book itself has great content. I am rating this 1 star due to the missing online component. I purchased this book for my Business Communications class and my professor uses the online component to the book called Connect. The book DOES NOT include the online registration code. Buyer beware. You can purchase an ebook version with the Connect access through McGraw Hill at a much better price. Amazon customer service, while very nice, could not solve the issue and I returned the book.

A truly great Business Communication textbook.

I probably have referred to over 50 business communications textbooks in the last seven years, and this one is head and shoulders above any I have reviewed. Great job, Peter Cardon!
